Piaget GOA30109 wrist watches news:
Hey Sean, are you liking the new masthead photo? It's great how it takes top billing, isn't it?
Interested in purchasing a Schumaker Speedmaster. Will it be difficult to find someone to service it and does anyone know what the general cost would be .
Today was a good day dear TRF friends. I¡¯ve had my eyes on this one for quite some time. Finally pulled the trigger. Ordered it a few months ago and then the wait began.... I guess it¡¯s part of the charm. I wanted to do this purchase the old fashion way from my local AD brand new sealed ordered for me. They were fantastic. Today I got the call and it was indeed a very, very good day. Cheers. George
I¡¯m currently looking at two seadwellers for sale, model 16600. Both are A serial numbers, one is a Swiss only dial and one is a Swiss made dial. I just want to be sure that the inserts are original on both. The Swiss only Dial has a pointed 4 insert, which is different than all A-serial pieces I have seen. They all seem to come with a flat 4 insert, which is the insert that is on the Swiss made piece for sale. I prefer the Swiss only watch because it is a complete set, but I¡¯m concerned that it may be a service insert. Sorry I can¡¯t post any pictures as both watches are currently for sale and I don¡¯t want to violate the sellers in any way. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
I am deciding between the Sub or an Explorer I and a Tudor Heritage BB. I visited my local AD yesterday and I tried on both watches. Yes the AD had a Sub available for sale, actually he said it has been sitting there for about a month now.The Explorer I is a very nice watch but the Sub was an awesome watch and the price difference was only $1200. The AD gave me the Rolex Magazine with the Sub cover, haven't been able to put it down.I will wait till I try the Tudor Heritage Black Bay and then make a decision on whether to buy a Sub only or the Explorer I and the Tudor BB.My main point is...the choice isnt going to be an easy one.
