Rado R30940013 wrist watches news:
What does it take for one to spend about $7,000 - $10,000 (or more) on a quartz chronograph watch? And I mean an educated watch lover who knows about movements and isn't just buying for looks? Is there such a watch? Maybeand maybe it is something like this Quinting Mysterious Chronograph. Certainly a rare breed, Quinting is a Swiss brand that makes all quartz movements, I mean mysterious quartz movements. The Quinting Mysterious Chronograph is really of the more complicated watches that Quinting makes. The actual name of it is pretty strange as it is called the "Quinting Chronograph Mysterious Quinting." Don't ask, I don't understand either.? The movements they produce are actually located in the bezel of the watch and involve a series of motors that turn sapphire crystal discs. The discs move the hands. As the chronograph models have a lot of hands, the watch movement gets really complicated. The chronograph movement for example utilizes 13 separate discs in the dial. You can see right
Can anyone help me out with this watch? I bought this because it looks awesome but I really don't know much about them. Does everything look original or might some of the parts be replacements? I compared it to other examples and it looks original to me.I know for sure the crown was replaced as was the crystal and chrono hand as I have the originals that came with the watch.Feel free to PM me. Thanks!
So on my lunch break today I walked into Westwood, CA. There is a small jewelery store, Morgan Jewelers in Westwood. I have walked by it probably a dozen times and always marvelled at the PP in the window. So today I pop in and take a look around. I start talking to the guy behind the counter, super nice guy, he new I was a young guy without enough cash to be serious but he was nice enough to show me some stuff and shoot the breeze. I thought that I would be totally dismissed due to my age, 25, but the guy working was really nice. Now on to the watches, WOW, I have always admired PP, however, when you're looking at a case of about 50 of them, it's pretty cool. Now I just need to start saving, guess it's a good think I work for a bank, might need to open a PP account.
I¡¯m going to Beijing in a couple weeks. While I have been ¡°on the list¡± at my local AD for some time, I¡¯m losing hope in ever getting my hands on one. Does anyone know the relative availability of hard to find Rolex models (specifically the Daytona white dial) in Beijing? I¡¯m prepared to pay a bit above list if that makes any difference. I know it¡¯s a long shot, but I would really appreciate any recommendations and/or connections. Many thanks!
Who will be there from this weekend on ? Show Report from 2016 Direkt linkt to the Show Would be great to see some of you in person ;-)
