Richard Mille RM-008 wrist watches news:
Hi everyone! I wanted to first thank all of you for posting a general amount of good advice and sharing all the watch-geek knowledege so freely in these boards. I've browsed through here for a quite a while now, and decided it was time to join and speak up.I'm not a beginner to watch collecting, as my collection is into the double digits, but it's not necessarily anything that impressive at this point. I have a Tissot PRC 200, Victorinox Summit XLT 241340, a Citizen Eco-Drive AT0100-51A, a G Shock G2900, and a handful of Kenneth Cole & Fossil quartz pieces. The only automatics I have are a Stuhrling and a Kenneth Cole, both of which I love the appearance of, but have decided it's time to get something a little higher up the scale. I'm decidedly leaning towards either a Hamilton Khaki or an Omega Speedmaster, but I won't ask you to help me pick between the two. Rather, I'm hoping for some general advice about buying a pre-owned Omega (in hopes of narrowing the price gap between
$(KGrHqUOKowE3HC-dqC7BN8jJNlkFQ~~0_12.JPGI have recently bought the above watch. Between what years did Kurth Freres make these movements? It says GS MkII A73123 on the back - anyone know what that means? Thanks in anticipation....
Just to share some very random shots... My turn behind the wheels.. (Sorry no PP today for me..)HAVGW.. jenjust a fun piece to share.. ;)
(ps. the date is not jammed, it is working perfectly.)Merry Christmas n Happy Boxing Day! jen
Hi all, I¡¯m new here. I haven¡¯t had a Rolex in 5+ years and don¡¯t have any collection currently. I have been itching to get back in and prefer the DJ 2 over the new 41. Sadly so it seems SS models are in crazy demand and with this model being discontinued for some time there isn¡¯t a whole lot to come by. I have always purchased my watches from a local ¡°trusted seller¡± but never an AD. I want to keep these watches for the long haul and think the AD route may be beneficial so I am asking what you guys think regarding a discount knowing the above. DJ 2 Fluted SS black stick dial msrp $9100 - 13% discount selling $7900 shipped to my office. In the past I have only been a 20%+ strike price guy but with the current situation I know there¡¯s better out there but I haven¡¯t had any luck finding it from an AD. Heck even the 2nd market is close in price. What do you guys think and can anyone help with a better deal from an AD?P.S. I was offered 17% off on the rhodium diamond but I didn¡¯t
