- It was a present for my boyfriend. He loves it, not too heavy and a nice working watch. Unlike some less expensive watches the date marker does work too. Good watch for the price. He's happy with it and that's all that matters.

Seiko SRP341K2 wrist watches news:
One of the most exciting releases at Basel World 2013 came from Swatch, which isn't exactly the most talked about brand here at HODINKEE. The Sistem51 is the world's first mechanical movement with entirely automated assembly. It has only 51 components, all of which are anchored to a central screw, a 90 hour power reserve, and, oh yeah, it's 100% Swiss made. While there was one Sistem51 prominently displayed in a glass case at the center of Swatch's Basel exhibition, here we have an exclusive hands-on look at this revolutionary watch.?? Seriously guys, this could be a game-changer. 2 OF 25 Sistem51 Dial Detail Back in 1983, Swatch launched with the mission of making Swiss watches mass produce-able and available to everyone in the wake of the quartz crisis. By reducing the number of components in a quartz movement from the typical 91 to a much more?manageable?51, Swatch was able to fully automate production. This, combined with the brand's commitment to popular culture
This is a rare one as only 300 of this watch were placed in a round case. 17 jewels, Breguet hairspring, double roller escapement, compensation balance, adjusted. Cased in either round or cushion shape silver case."The watch was tremendously popular with the American Expeditionary Force and the U.S. Navy, and we (the Hamilton Watch Company) have never been able to meet the demand for it." -Hamilton Watch, the Watch of Railroad Accuracy, p. 25Pic/description not mine
hi pals, i just got this version of the oem rubber band for my F1, it comes in the limited Kimi edition, it looks cool, i love it, the red accent makes it pop and match the red detailing on the dial.enjoy the picsMENTS!!!
If you had an AP 15400 blue, and you were NOT going to part with it. Would you ALSO add a PP 5711 to your collection? (first PP). If not, what else would you get next to complement your blue AP (if the rest of your collection was mostly Rolex... and you like diversity... and you like sport watches and divers)
Dear TRF Friends...Please allow me to share this great story with you about my recent GTG in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Before I begin I would like to tell you how I meet Michael (ap_mike)... Michael and I meet on a watch forum about 5 1/2 years ago when we were both new to collecting watches. We then had the opportunity to meet in person at a big Rolex GTG in London 5 years ago where our friendship grew at a more personal level. Over the years as our passion for watches grew we consulted each other on different brands and watches we were persuing... From Omega to Rolex to AP and PP...So last week I had the opportunity to meet up with Michael as I was operating a flight into Colombo. We had a great time catching up and sharing our small watch collection with each other... Here are a few snaps from our GTG...This was my very first overnight stay in Colombo Sri Lanka... It's an absolutely beautiful country... I only wish I had a few more days to travel around!Over looking the Indian Ocean...
