A regular crowd pleaser, Squale produces Italian-designed Swiss-Made diving watches that hearken back to popular sport watch designs - often from the 1970s. The Squale 2002 Collection is an excellent example, offering a range of good looking, durable, and extremely functional 1000-meter water-resistant divers in a range of dial colors. This month on watches-dealer, one lucky person will win one.The Squale 2002 Collection 1000 Meter Automatic Dive watch comes in a 43mm-wide steel case that contains a Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. The design is a modern interpretation of the classic 101ATMOS timepiece produced in the 1970s, but with modern materials designed to keep the 2002 looking good in or out of the water. A serious diver's tool, the Squale 2002 Collection 1000 Meter Automatic Dive watch comes on a textured rubber strap as well as a mesh metal bracelet option. Hello, everyone!I am in the process of buying a used 2254.50, the watch is in excelent condition, with the bracelet having been refinished recently to look like new. However, the warraty card is dated July 2004 and the service history is unknown, so I assume it would be advisable to have a full service of the watch after purchase, since it is a 9 year old piece and it seems to be running a bit slow. Having that in mind, how much should I expect to pay for a full service/overhaul of the watch from an independant watchmaker? (I will be in the US for about a week only, so I don't have time to send the watch to Omega).I am very excited about this purchase, it is such an iconic watch! I was torn between this piece and a Seamaster 300, but looked hard at both and decided on the 2254.Thanks in advance!
