Seiko SUP112 wrist watches news:
Omega has been mighty impressive lately, releasing watches that are not only aesthetically attractive but also technically competent. One of their biggest announcements this year at Baselworld was its new Master Co-axial movement. Any Omega watch with this movement is virtually anti-magnetic, and not only that, comes with a longer than average warranty. And in this roundup, we will be taking a closer look at Omega¡¯s new Aqua Terra Master Co-Axial watches, which have been fitted with this new movement.Next, we visit the workshops of a little known brand called Julien Coudray 1518 and find out why they are one of the few true blue-blooded manufactures in the business. We also take the time to talk to legendary director James Cameron about his relationship with Rolex and his thoughts about the recently released Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller D-Blue dial watch. Finally, we examine some of the pitfalls a watch owner might face when it is time for his watch to be serviced, and also learn how to s
We only have one photo of a Lord Lancaster in the Photo Thread. There has to be more here than that.I've got a "B" on the way that I'll snap a photo of for the thread. May we see your photos of other Lord Lancaster models you have that we can use in the Photo Thread?
Well, the watch went to a different restoration expert than originally planned. (cost vs. value of finished product determined that) He was recommended to me by a couple people and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work, but told me right upfront that I'll need a new bezel insert ($66 shipped - already tracked one down). He just showed me a problem with the dial - it was relumed once with the wrong material and done very poorly so the finish is ruined. I have a line on a NOS dial but that will be expensive. Funny thing is, the NOS dial will still cost LESS than the price of the first place's cost for refinishing! I'll still have the original parts, but now Scott and Tom can have a chuckle because by my definition I'm creating a frankenHeuer! Oh well, better OEM NOS than redialed.
Hi,My 15400 is at Clearwater to get its 3rd year warranty applied. It has picked up a few marks over the the last few years, nothing serious though. They quoted $210 to polish the case. Has anyone done this and how are the results?
Looking at the WG YM2 as my next watch but I am seeing some with blue hands and some with WG hands. I know they changed to WG Mercedes hands at Basel 17 but I'm referring to the Gen 1 models.Does anyone know when the hand change occurred or have any info? Of course wrist shots are always welcome. Thanks!
