- This is a very dressy watch which is what I ordered it for. It's pretty enough to set your arm off for those special occassions that you really want to dress up for. I think anyone would be pleased with the value they get for such a low price.

Ulysse Nardin 263-90-7m/91 wrist watches news:
Buying on eBay is always an attractive option until you are faced with a questionable seller (or buyer for that matter). The item looks good, but it might be too good to be true, or you want to make sure you are getting your money's worth. Face it, there is an extent of caveat emptor (buyer beware) on eBay, but you can easily reduce your chances of ever having an unmanageable experience buy using feedback on eBay to your advantage. For the uninitiated, eBay allows users to score each other with feedback ratings. You either had a good or bad transaction with someone, and more recently you can give people sub-ratings based on more specific factors. In addition to your "positive" or "negative" feedback, you have a little of room to discuss or explain a situation. This is where you will do your more harm, or cause the most damage. Feedback is more or less permanent, and is very difficult to alter or remove. Giving feedback should be done with care, and after you have had a full opportunity
one of Tom's cast offs. Have a nice day everybody!!
I have a Denver-based buddy who has inherited a very old Hamilton wristwatch (30's) and a late-60's Swiss-movement Bulova auto. He has asked me to identify a watchmaker who can do a good job servicing these. I have a coupla guys I use, but I'm not sure these are the watches for them, particularly the Hamilton. I also know that nobody wants to expose their watchmaker publicly for fear they will get swamped. But I would appreciate if someone could PM me with a vintage-American-sensitive suggestion usable by a non-WIS Denverite. (My wife has just received from her father a 1950 Bulova Excellency in perfect condition. He had had it serviced a few years ago by a guy in Allentown, who did a great job. But he can't remember the guy's name.) Rick "thanks" Denney
For years now, I've noticed a certain TV shopping channel promotes mega-hyped clearance events. But the watches are being sold at the usual prices, not steeply discounted as they would lead you to believe. For example, a Brand Y watch that sold for $800 when it was being aired on TV is now being sold - again - for $800. In between, the price jumped to $899. But the $800 price always returns when the vendor's show is scheduled. To me, this isn't a clearance sale - or a sale at all. Just more BS. Having owned an operated retail stores, I'd never do this to my customers. I believe people are smarter than that.In fairness, the TV channel does offer discounted shipping on clearance items - a savings of about $10. Of course, they raise and lower shipping charges too.End of observation.Since I don't buy from them anymore, it doesn't even qualify as a rant.Does this tick you off?
Thinking of going with some gold. Would love to hear opinion from the forum. I have a 7.5 wrist and usually love the 42mm ROO (I understand the love the 44mm ROO gets here and while its a great piece, its not for me).I would do the 26470or on strap or the 26320or on bracelet with a black face. Opinions are welcome...Fire Away !
