Hi, First of all may I apologise for what I am about to ask. I have purchased a couple of cheap watches from China on ebay. They really don`t look too bad but I can`t figure out how to remove the links from the bracelet. The sellers are not being very helpful.Now this is where I am asking a lot of you. I do not know how to copy pictures and place them on this thread so I am asking that you go onto ebay uk and look at the bracelets. Lindbergh Atlantic Voyage - Question about Limited Edition1.
All,Wonder whether anyone can help me on this as my AD has not been able to get a sensible answer from Longines....There appear to be two versions of the Lindbergh Atlantic Voyage - a regular one with a date and a Limited Edition one without a date (and engraved on the Hunter Back with a Limited Edition Number).Now I asked the AD two questions:1. What are the differences between the normal and the limited edition - Answer - There is no date on the limited edition.2. How many off of the limited edition were made - Answer - There is no limited edition. They were as confused as me by the responses and I wondered if anyone on here knew any different?I have asked Longines directly through their web site but have had no answer.Any help much appreciated A

Caring for Leather Straps
I have been meaning to ask this and seeing the other topic on leather straps reminded me. Is there anything you should proactively do to care for the leather straps? Mink oil or something? They appear to be "prepped" out of the box, but I am curious.And the real question. Say you wore a nice leather strap on a really hot day and actually perspired through the strap. I, uh, have a friend that did this. After drying, the marks are subtle - my, uh, his strap is a light tan, but they still are visible. Any way to clean and protect the strap?Thanks.B

Patek Nautilus 5711/1A completed package?
Hello everyone...thinking of pulling the trigger on PP Nautilus 5711/1A. from AD. Watch is beautiful. Been wanting one for years. Watch of course is new. Has everything Certificate and nice big wooden box. What trouble me is that you know how it also comes w/small box and plastic pouch when AD gets from PP. They said under new PP policy they are to destroyed them. So my question to u is would u be a bother to this??? I want a completed package. I am thinking of waiting for asking them to get another order? Should I buy now or wait. Thanks in advance.
