TW Steel TWCE-1034 wrist watches news:
Any if I wear a T-shirt and jeans or a suit of the Monaco shines and crowns of the holding. The size is not that big that would feel heavy. The Monaco is very comfortable to wear. The crocodile features leather strap folding loop steel polished with buttons which can be adjusted very precisely to find the best fit on my wrist - no any loose and not too tight. The clasp is also designed to keep the Monaco on your wrist where the loop opens by accident, never that happened to me yet. The Tag Heuer Monaco stand is a characteristic front-right without any unnecessary embellishment.
As we at HODINKEE like to do, I am thrilled to give you an early look at some of the highlights from the May 2016 auction season – here with a focus on our friends at Christie's. We already know that cross-town rival Phillips has a special, stainless-steel chronographs sale planned for the weekend of May 14th in Geneva, but that doesn't mean Christie's isn't going down without a fight. In fact, based on what you'll see here, it's fair to say we are in for an absolutely incredible weekend of watch sales. Let's get down to it. The Earliest Patek Philippe 530 Oversized Chronograph In Steel, With A Sector Dial 1 OF 12 This 530 Steel is the earliest known example, dating back to 1938. Okay, we'll start with the most exciting watch to me. This thing is downright insanity, a true grail watch for me personally. What you're looking at is a reference 530 – the oversized Patek chronograph from the vintage era – consid
I finished this one yesterday.1916 Elgin Officer's Trench Watch, 15 jewels, 38mm nickel case, size 6s, Bund strap, Illinois Watch Case, beautiful damaskeen finish. Not your usual trench watch, this is the MUCH bigger 38mm version. Illinois made their version with 10mm lugs and a hinged case back, snap on bezel. Philadelphia also made a 6s version with 16mm lugs with snap on bezel and case back. You don't see many of these big 38mm, 6s cases. Most from the WWI era were the much smaller size 0s and 3/0s.
I¡¯m not a prolific forum poster by any means yet visit multiple times a day! Though a recent notification of arrival has spurred me on¡I¡¯m normally the recipient of emails from a demanding customer or my manager wanting to discuss the next crisis so imagine my surprise when the following popped in my inbox!Subject: 5131RHi JohnAre you sat down? The 5131R is ready for delivery! Could you let me know your home address so Patek can print it on the warranty for us¡Kind regardsAndrewIt got my attention alright, my co-workers thinking I¡¯d had a funny turn by my reaction! All being well I will collect my watch on my birthday very soon.
Has anyone else bought a sub for it's bracelet? With my current lineup I don't think I would wear it too often but switch the bracelet onto the BLNR which at present gets no wrist time due to the bracelet being or too big or too small (glidelock has spoiled me), added bonus would be no PCL's.Have tried just sourcing a 97200 but that seems to be impossible. Sub on a nato strap might also get more wrist time come summer, only upside as I see it.
