The GMT ist not only a beautiful but also a practical watch.It has two timezones in one !After arriving in a different timezone all you have to is to set the small hand hour by hour to the local time and the red/green 24-hour-hand stays at your hometime.Thats a nice attribute but it is useless if you always stay at home.So to test the function all you need is an airplane.Lufthansa was so kind to leave us one for a small charge:The fleets grandpa "Thüringen" (whis is one of Germanys states)Hannes was skeptical. Automatic time
Ok, so I need to know from you experts what kind of time an automatic watch is supposed to keep to be considered state of the art. I've had cheap $10 quartz watches that kept perfect time and all banged up but worked fine for years. I bought a rolex in 2005 and was thinking that the time it would keep would be perfect but it was off by more than a minute every few days. I then bought the Longines Hydroconquest which keeps time within a few seconds every day and then the most recent Omega purchase which is off a few seconds every day as well. I think over the years and then after reviewing this website that these pricey watches although very nice arent able to keep better time than a cheap quartz which kind of leaves me wondering if these purchases were a little bit foolish in the sense of timekeeping anyway. I look forward to more educated comments on this subject.

Patek Nautilus (SS) VS Aquanaut (either rubber or SS), which would you pick and why?I used to think the Nautilus SS was nice, but recently I grew to like the look of the rubber Aquanaut. If I had to choose one, I can't make up my mind though.Thoughts?

16014 lug hole size??
Hi all,I have been having trouble removing the spring bars from the end links of my 16014 when attempting to change straps. I think it may be easier to leave them in the end links of the bracelet and then buy a set of replacement spring bars for the straps I want to use on my DJ.What I am having trouble finding is the size of the spring bar that will fit the lug hole. Would these work from Amazon: a.co/3HywiOc ?Thanks in advance!
