Tissot T014.410.11.047.00 wrist watches news:
This is a follow-up review from Derique Y. in Singapore, winner of the Wryst Airborne FW3 Limited Edition watch giveaway on watches-dealer in May.I've been following watches-dealer (formerly aBlogtoRead) for many years now, lapping up sweet images of watches that I could probably never afford, and half the time trying to imagine that hairy arm of Ariel's is mine instead.Every now and then, watches-dealer will throw out a watch for someone to win. Participating was simple, commenting on the post and liking some pages. I once commented on a giveaway and just like every other lucky draw I've participated in, I always came out empty, little surprise. Then there were other giveaways that I never bothered with simply because I could not care less about those watches.. dull and bland with no ounce of uniqueness. One day, along came a wildly designed watch from WRYST, in striking green and black. The case was unique; flared exoskeleton in DLC coating protecting the crown and pushers. I like big
As part of?Zenith's focus on their Pilot watch collection for 2013, one of the new models is this Pilot Montre dĄŻA¨Śronef Type 20 GMT watch. Also new for 2013 is the?Zenith Pilot Montre dĄŻA¨Śronef Type 20 Annual Calendar. Both the Annual Calendar and the GMT use existing Zenith movements. In fact, we see very little new movements these days from the major brands. Movement development is extremely expensive and time consuming. It is often best to extend the life of successful movements by dressing them up in different ways, in different watches. Zenith of course is among the true in-house movement makers.Zenith has true history with pilot watches and the Pilot Montre dĄŻA¨Śronef Type 20 collection is based on historic designs made popular by themselves and other watchmakers of the time. But to us that doesn't matter. If you make a good watch today it shouldn't matter what you've done in the past. Yes, I know, I am an unrefined American. The almost art deco style of the vintage looking dials
If you have a chance, check out the Dodgers / Phillies game. Dodger manager Joe Torre has a large gold chronograph with a black dial & white hands. There was a decent shot of it in the 1st inning right after Myers threw one behind Manny Ramirez and the camera flashed to the dugout. Any guess on what he's wearing? Maybe i could send him an e-mail and have him post in our Daily Wrist Check thread. .....oh, come on! He'd be game for it, right?
Evening Gent's... As some of you know I'm gradually chipping away at the outstanding balance on an orange bezelled (45.5mm) Planet Ocean that Chris (The GMTMaster) has very kindly set aside for me. I'm still about six maybe eight weeks away from picking up my new babay so in the interim c'mon guys show me some Planet Ocean luuuuurrrrrve..... (I have the black bezel coming too so any PO shot're welcome but either bezel with red numerals'll really get my savings targets met I'm sure..... )Thanks in advance y'all....
A great detailed breakdown with photo's of the Speedmaster, which is quite topical for me at the moment and I thought some here might like to see it too. Its probably done the rounds before so apologies if already been posted
