A surprise waiting for me when I came home from the store .....
.....this is the last of the watches I can afford to get today .....but it is the second Hamilton, 1 Benrus and the Enicar......eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low pricesthe photos aren't very good, but I do love that dial ....and it appears to be a Hamilton Illinois .....Are they rarer that the regular Hamilton ? .....DId I do ok with this one ? ....or perhaps I should wait and ask that question when I have the watch in hand .....oh boy oh boy oh boy ! ....got 4 watches coming in the maiil .....I always feel like the folks in this video when I am waiting for watches to arrive!I can't find the original.....does anyone know about this remake ? ....never heard of it ......it's not bad actually.....the kid playing Opies role looks more like a New York newsboy than a small town lisping redheaded kid....

Polishing cloths, not the kind that take metal off...
Hi all, Milos,I picked up a couple micro-fibre cloths a couple years back and they are still quite clean. They are washed regularly and I was wondering if these cloths can cause any scratching/scuffing as they age?I've only used the softer, dealer branded cloth on my 5146 and would appreciate your input.Thanks, M.

I was looking at an Invicta and was just about to pull the triger when I saw the WTF watch. At the time 18 of the 30 that are to be made were already taken. So, I put the Invicta off a couple months and went with it. It is pictured here and if you want one better jump now cause they are going fast!

Good day all, I never considered Panerai watches before, nothing from their line captured my heart. I am a hard core rolex and patek fan. Yesterday I passed by Panerai boutique and thought why not go and check the watches. And he showed it to me The PAM 739 due with open case back and skeleton movement and micro rotor. Love at first sight. That grey sunburst dial with gold markers and hands simply amazing. I was too close to buying it but thought I would take my time a bit so that I don't make impulse decision. For me the advantages of the watch are:1- slim profile 2-Beautiful dial 3- amazing movement with micro rotor 4- polished case look very classy despite being finger print magnet Disadvantages :1- pathetic water resistance in Panerai standards, 30 m only2- need continuous cleaning as finger prints make it look dirty (see below photos)3- very very big. 45 mm, on my 7 wrist it felt huge as compared to my hulk4- no complications at all. Even no date5- very expensive (14.3 k usd) for
