U-Boat 6076 wrist watches news:
Definitely a grail....one I probably will never see is an A Lange & Sohne. When I first saw this collection at my AD, I was smitten with the elegance and craftsmanship of these watches. Which model? Not sure, too many I really like. Now if I could just pick those six numbers correctly on that card....Grails don't always equal exorbitant prices, just seems that way. What grails do you dream of?
Woke up yesterday morning and felt like a day fit with my Omega Chronodiver , so i tried to wind it up and adjust it, when i was about to screw lock in the crown , then to my surprise, the crown didnt want to be locked , ( it seems can be wind up forever and I couldnt feel the usual resistance . worried that something really bad happened, i e-mail the omega service center in Jakarta. I also told them that i bought it in Singapore and I am worried that the international warranty might be an issue here. Less than 3 hours, the service officer Ms Tanti replied me and asked me to bring all the papers (warranty cards etc) together with the watch to be inspected thoroughly. Went to the service center this afternoon and I found the service officer , Ms Tanti with her attentive and very proffesional helpful manner , She told me that although the 2 years warranty had expired 4 days ago, but as a good will from Omega they were willing to replace th parts free of charge . Wow ! what a service.
From mythbusters, the TV show:An electromagnet hidden in a wristwatch can deflect bullets.BUSTEDJamie built an electromagnet that could fit inside a wristwatch and mounted it near a target. Next they fired bullets at the target, making sure that the bullets passed close by the electromagnet. However, the wristwatch-sized electromagnet was not powerful enough to change the bullet¡¯s trajectory. The Mythbuster then upgraded to a larger and more powerful electromagnet, but it still couldn¡¯t deflect the bullet. Finally, the Mythbusters resorted to using a series of thirteen super powerful permanent rare earth magnets, which only deflected the bullet by a minor amount. The Mythbusters explained that a magnet¡¯s energy decreased exponentially the farther away you are from the magnet. Plus, in order to be powerful enough to stop a bullet, an electromagnet would need an enormous amount of energy that couldn¡¯t possible be contained within a wristwatch, which makes most of the magnet scenes in Bon
Hi peeps, wanted to seek some insight as to this problem I'm having with my 5327-G on my wolf roadster which is a vertical winder. When I first purchased this watch I placed it on the winder at ccw 800tpd and it worked perfect. However after about 6 months I noticed my watch started dying on the winder at the exact same winder setting. I've worn it on my wrist for days and it seems to keep perfect time. However once it's on the winder it dies in a few days. This is really frustrating me as it used to work perfectly on the winder. Anyone facing the same issue with 240Q calibre?Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Hey guys - It¡¯s been several years since buying a panerai (have been on a Rolex run), and was considering getting a 42mm submersible but unsure how much of a discount can be had on these - I assume 42mm is less popular and probably has worse resale value, so wondering if I should be able to get more of a discount. I tried one on at a boutique out of state , so could ship without taxes. And while this is a boutique , it is owned and operated by a private jewelry store literally on the other side of the mall. Thanks for any insight into PAM pricing!P.s. watch in question is pam 682Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
