U-Boat U-Boat 14906 wrist watches news:
I am on my second Rolex at this point. Both having been purchased from an authorized dealer from their 'watch' show. Both having been pre-owned and refurbed by Rolex, they were in great condition. Problem is, neither came with the regular Rolex box. One did but it was a left over the AD had. The latest, the sub, had a smaller green box. Almost like a jewelry box.My question is two fold. Why did they come with a different box and two, what maintenance would you recommend beyond repairing any issues?I have had it 'polished' by the local AD but the new dealer in town says they cant do it. The old dealer closed up shop. They offered to send it in to Rolex but I will be without the watch for longer than I want.
I was wondering if the Seiko Knight's bezel (SKXA51K1) would fit on a SKX007J case and if any of you have done that. Are those bezels of the same size? I've never seen a Seiko Knight in person.
In Cheeseland there was a post on "short sleeved weather" being here.So let's see those watches that you favor during the best of the 4 seasons.(JMHO)A couple of my watches that are for summer wear.My T-Touch that reeks of bright sunny days.My newest Citizen that I got for summer activities like washing the car and any other water related activity. (WR 300m)And my official lawn mowing and any other "sweat inducing" outdoor summer activity. The original work horse and my first Seiko Diver. ( about 7 years of hard labor and none the worse for wear)
any one is not familiar with who Rory is, he is a darn good golfer at age 23-24. He won both the US Open and the PGA championship once and is now currently world no. 2 behind Tiger. I read the news on his facebook yesterday. I believe Omega should have paid him millions for him to make this change. As I understand the sponsorship is business, if I am in Rory's shoes, I just feel sad for wearing an AP ROO 44mm yesterday and to a Omega speedmaster today. Not that I do not like Omega, but they are just not in the same category.any fellow members feel a similar way?anyway, birthday coming up and hope i could save enough to tap the nautilus category!!
With the new Pepsi GMT announced today wonder how many current SS GMTc owners (LN and BLNR versions) are selling their pieces to fund the new Pepsi GMT on jubilee? The new SS Pepsi is a beauty but untouchable for a couple of years, so looking forward to LN / BLNR prices on the market during the next few months! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
