- At such a fabulous price, I couldn't resist buying my second Maverick II (but with a different dial face). I've had my first one about 4 years now and love the look and style.

U Boat 1911 wrist watches news:
I promiseI am making a big promise that I will have pictures of my Rolex when I return from my honeymoon...Anywyas, I leave in the morning and I'll be in the ocean everyday for a good week, and I worry about the stel vs. sea water and it perhaps causing future damage to my time piece. Does anyone have any advice, or anything I should do related to care and cleaning to keep from having any problems...
I have always been a sucker for 36K VPH movements, especially from Seiko. Over the years, I've owned KS4500, GS4520, GS4522, and GS6146. However, none of these movement were available in 1967, my birth year. Only two 36K VPH from Seiko were available in that year, 6159 and 5740c. A month ago, I spotted a very nice example of a 5740c on another forum, I jumped at the chance to get it. Today, I got a chance to snap some photos to share with you all. Here it is, Lord Marvel 36000 from 1967. It is 35mm (a tad small and gold plated), but hey, it is 43 years old so can't be too choosy.
some of you are familiar with the torture test videos to see how tough a dive watch really is. today is something really special, so please enjoy it, heck its friday.these are the photos of the results. seems I need another crystal.:D
