- Watch is very nice. This is the first watch I have bought that did not require additional links. Great looking, without being too flashy. Highly recommended.

U-Boat 6157 wrist watches news:
HelloI am normally over on the Hamilton section of these forums, but I need some help on two IWC watches that I've received. They are both ladies watches. I'm not sure if it's the same here, but on the Hamilton board, 95% of the information is on men's watchesI am hoping to find any info on these pieces, possible IWC Ref Numbers, and and suggestion as to value.Watch #1 is an 18Kt White Gold Watch, with an 18kt Mesh-Style Band. The bezel of the watch has 14 diamonds on it, and the watch is powered by a Cal 431 movement. The case and movement serial numbers date this to approx 1962, but this is all of the info I have been able to find.(Case: 1,715,590 Movement: 1,659,872)Watch #2 is an 18kt Yellow Gold Watch, with an 18kt interlocking Mesh Band. This is also powered by a Cal 431 movement, and I think I've got the year pinned down to 1960. (Case: 1,509,412 Movement: 1,472,867)Again, any add'l would be great and suggestion as to value range as well.Thank you!ChrisIMG_0973.jpg
Hey guys. Merry Christmas to all! Been a while since my last visit.I wrote before in this thread about three older watches which belonged to my father and grandfather. Here is another one I did not know I had lying around until today. I will try to find more info on it, though have not had much luck so far. Please feel free to provide some info if you have on it or the brand. It's a gold (probably) pocket watch from around 1970. Only 43mm in diameter excluding the crown. Too bad it doesn't have a second hand. I will see to take it to a watchmaker to have a look and service it before I "use" it. :)11.jpg 22.jpg 33.jpg 44.jpg55.jpg
I think so as I didnt think Id post so often or read so much considering I havent bought one yet.
Hijust spoke to an AD and the list price of 5990 is 45000 EURO and odd (it doesnt matter at this price)They get one at the end of Sept and another one end of q1 2015. Hope to put my name down for it in q1 CheersD
Hi all . I just want to see if anyone out there has any experience with the new rubber B Velcro strap ? I recently received one as a birthday gift . I had wanted a rubber B strap for my sub for a while and seeing the new high tech Velcro strap on their website I thought it might be a good option , so asked for one for my birthday, It was interesting and different concept .. but I have to say I am so disappointed in the product . It peels open so easily , when removing my jacket , taking off my jumper , the Velcro catches and simply peels open ...I nearly lost my watch off my wrist on day one , it was on my watch fir 2 days before I took it off completely.I then contacted Rubber b to see if they may allow me to exchange my strap for a tang buckle . Explaining it was a gift. Their reply was no as the strap had been worn . And I should try turning the strap around . They then attached pictures of Raphael nadal wearing the strap in some sort of wankey statement of the products quality ....
