Ladies Diamond MIMO watch?
My wife inherited a beautiful watch from her grandmother and I have been unsuccesful in finding any info on it. We did have an appraisal done on it a few years ago, but the company that did the appraisal could not find anything in all of his books about this watch, so it was appraised on the value of the diamonds and palladium at $3000 cdn.I seen one watch that is very similar on e-bay selling for almost 20k, so I am thinking that I may need to have another appraisal done. I know that it is a rare Mimo watch likely from the 1920 era.There are 34 diamonds with a total weight of approx 0.65 carats and the watch is stamped paladium 14k with the initials RDB. The movement is stamped Mimo Swiss Adjusted 17 jewels.If anyone knows anything about these watches or the origin i would love to learn more about them. From what I understand :1928 ? Otto Graef, a watchmaker of German origin and owner of the brand MIMO (Manufacture Internationale de Montres Or, the international manufacture of gold w

I have the opportunity to buy a Cockpit big date with a silver dial. Are these desirable Breitlings and what would be a fair price. The watch is all stainless and is not a chrono. I think it's 41mm if that sounds right. Never owned a Breitling before so any info pros an cons of this mode is appreciated. Thanks!!

Considering moving to an Aquanaut from DSSD
I'm basically no lonet happy with Rolex, especially the new oils, new flaws, and what's looking to be much more frequent servicing ....Give me some ups and downs on the Aquanaut. . And approximate used value on a stainless piece. Rubber strapBelieve it or not, it's by far my favorite Patek piece. Time to step away from this DSSDThanks all
