Ulysse Nardin 278-70/632 wrist watches news:
I have some good news....the big boss (JBHII) promised us a "SUB-FORUM" !!This sub-forum (will be placed right on the top of our PP forum page). It will be called "Patek Philippe Picture Gallery and Reviews"Reference-by-reference, (metal-by-metal within the thread) we will be slowly building a nicedatabase of pictures, technical data and reviews. Each thread will be dedicatedto a certain model reference and over time we will have a great photo-albumat our finger tips. This will be a great resource of information not only for seasoned Patek veterans, but also for any potential future owners or just fans of the brand who'd like to get educated.Thank you in advance, John.Once it is up - I know I'll get started with at least 3 "reference threads" ;)
Well, it arrived today - the 22A project watch. The seller was very honest about the condition. It's in a little better shape than I thought, but the stain at 3 might be a challenge:the case is a little beat up, but cool lugs:it's from 1950 according to the serial number:case reference 2674:All in all, finding these intact with correct parts and not redialed is tough enough. This one and it's sister (the 22AS) will probably be going in for restoration at the same time a little later on. I really wasn't planning on adding this, but the opportunity arose and I had to grab it.
Chocolate dial + Tiffany + original Jumbo = not a bad combo. ;-)(no, not mine! )
Ill start
I'm going to buy an Explorer I 214270 but was wondering if I should wait until Baselworld in case there are any announcements of an updated movement. Should I wait?
