Has anyone matted out a speedy bracelet?
Hi all,I am toying with the idea of asking my watchmaker to apply a matt finish on the bracelet of my '57 speedy reissue.Any thoughts and suggestions of whether this is a good idea would be most welcome.Pictures would be a bonus.thanks in advance.

Looking for a local shop to service a watch - Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Seattle
Well, I'm goign to get one of my favorite, cheap watches fixed. I bought a Nautica Diver at a discount place in NYC a few years back. It's stone reliable, keeps good time and has never let me down. Looks similar to anything else styles to resemble a Rolex, and wears well, despite being on the small side, case-wise (for me, small is 40mm).About a year after getting it home, I didn't swing wide enough one day and managed to nick the watch on a door knob. At first I thought there was zero damage. A few days later I noted that the small glass/plastic marker at 12 o'clock was gone.
