Vacheron Constantin 47450/000r-9404 wrist watches news:
The smart watch and wearables segment is evolving quickly and has us extremely curious to know how the luxury industry will find a space within an area they historically have very little experience - digital technology. New brand Christophe & Co. began with a very simple premise - to create an ultra high-end wearable that incorporated elements of high tech while focusing on exclusivity as a jewelry product for men. The Christophe & Co. Armill is not a watch - which leaves timepiece lovers free to wear their timepieces along side their often one-of-a-kind Christophe & Co. smart bracelet. The debut Christophe & Co. Armill models will be the "entry-level" Virtus, then Orion, and topped off with the ultra ritzy Apollo.I'll get to the technology part in a moment, but I do want to say that Christophe & Co. designed these wearables to incorporate small rotors that charge their batteries like automatic or auto-quartz watches generate power via the motion of one's wrist. Hey everyone! I have a hamilton pocket watch that was handed down to me about 5 years ago. I know nothing about it. I was wondering if someone could tell me about it and also tell me the the value. I did have someone tell me it was gold filled. But he wasn't sure. I would appreciate any info you have or can get. Here are a few pics. Sorry about the quality and size of them. Thanks,
I wore my Stauer Graves watch for the past few days. This is a reproduction of a watch custom made for a collector (Graves) back in 1933. At the time, this was the most expensive watch made. I would imagine that the $99 reproduction was not of the same quality as the original. Considering the price, I was realistic in my expectations and was not disappointed. For the price, I could have gotten a Miyota powered automatic, but the Chinese movement for the same price provided a few extra complications. There are four sub-dials; month, date, day of week and 24-hour indicator. The case was a little on the small side for my taste, but as I said, it is a 1933 design. The extended lugs do make it seem a little larger. The month and day of week are fairly easy to read, but the date and 24-hour dials are difficult. However, AM/PM is easy enough to distinguish. The three exterior buttons will advance the day, month and day of week making setting the watch that much easier. I wore the watch to a p
I had recently posted that I picked up a classic moonwatch speedy with the hesalite crystal. I really like this watch. There is just something very charming about it. I have never used that adjective for a watch before. However, I was recently away for business. I was nervous to bring it because I was worried I might have had it sized too small. Sometimes it is just perfect, but when I swell, it really does get a bit too snug for my liking. And being that I was going away, I was wary. Well, with all the walking around and whatnot it definitely got tight on me. I also like to sleep with my watch on, especially while I am away. So I was looking for a solution. And I got lucky as there was literally an Omega boutique on our walk home one night. I stopped in to ask if there was a micro adjustment, that they could do, that I might not have known about. Sadly there was not. After a bit of casual conversation they made a few offers of different options such as a Nato. I mention
