looking for info about an omega and repair
I'm trying to get some info on a watch I bought used years ago and where I might get a resonable repair done. I had some one look at my old gold seamaster chrono for a button replacement and they didn't get it sealed up well..When it fogged up I sent it to a local jewlery stoe and they sent it to Omega..They want a GRAND to repair it.I don't even know if the watch is worth that much. The guy that looked at it/screwed it up left me a case#I think, it is 176.007 are there any places in KCMO qualified to work on this and what might it be worth in good shape? jpratt490@yahoo

Dear All,does any of you know what's the calibre inside the chronograph watch CitizenCA0020-05E and whether it has a sweep chrono second hand? On the top of the manual which is visible on many on-line shops it appears H50 but I can't find anything about that calibre (if that is indeed a calibre).I cannot understand why such a basic informations like the caliber and the basic functions of a watch are not clearly reported by all sellers, real shops or internet...Thanks,GLF

Trying to find out what direction my watches need to be rotated when on a watch winder? Just had watchs serviced after storage for 30+ years. 1 is a 1969 Gold Seiko automatic model 6119-8080 & the other is a SS Caravelle with N-2 stamped on the case back. No other model # is on the case back. Caravelle is SS w/a black face ( 3 handed (hours, minutes, & red sweep second) w/just a magnified date window & no #s on the dial (just luminous marker's). Bezel is a bi-directional rotating diver style. Any info is appreciated
