Zenith 03.2310.679/38.M2310 wrist watches news:
Next month at SIHH Jaeger-LeCoultre will introduce the new Duom¨¨tre ¨¤ Quanti¨¨me Lunaire 40.5 – a slightly smaller version of the original 42.5mm watch that debuted in 2010. The new model’s case measures 13.07 mm thick and is 18k pink gold. Production is not limited.Jaeger-LeCoultre’s goal with the Duom¨¨tre series is to develop complicated watches that keep time with great accuracy. The goal is achieved by means of the Caliber 381’s “dual-wing” design which features two independent power supplies: one regulated by the escapement and balance, and the other for the time, date and age of the moon displays. This arrangement takes the complications out of the power loop, so to speak, allowing a smooth flow of energy to the escapement. As an added horological bonus, this piece incorporates a jumping foudroyante seconds hand showing 1/6th of a second incrementsplete technical specifications appear below the image.Technical SpecificationsMovement? Here are some pics of my smallest watch 33mm w/o crown. The serial number on the movement dates it to 1966, I believe.
I just received my first Seiko, The "blue" sawtooth SHC057 last night and I'm stoked. This thing is gorgeous! The blue dial is stunning, although I anticipated the wave pattern would be a little more prominent in normal light. The case size is about 48mm, 50mm w/ crown. 12mm thickness. Looks like it will have a low profile on the wrist. Hardlex crystal. The bracelet is about 20mm wide, and rather thin but solid w/ solid end links. Push button dual deployment w/ safety clasp and wet suit extention. The bezel is smooth w/ no looseness. Screw down caseback and crown. 7n36 quartz movement. Day, date. It says battery life indicator on features, but I'll be ****ed if I can figure that one out. The lume is the brightest and longest lasting I've ever seen, incredible! I'll be sure to post wrist shots tomorrow once I size it. Now I just need me an OM!

I'm one of two people on the waiting list. Said the other person hasn't called back yet. I said I was looking to flip something as part of the deal, so if the other guy comes in first with cash in hand, it's his. Only fair. Right?I'll be there saturday so if it's there, fine, if not, then there is always next time. May leave the flip watch there too as a credit if something similar comes to pass. Need to get all the box parts together before sat now. And maybe give the watch a bath. Ok, guesses accepted on what for what. Hint, I'm really liking the T on the sides of the Swiss recently...
