Audemars Piguet 67651OR.ZZ.D080CA.01 wrist watches news:
On September 16, Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver received the “2010 Entrepreneurship” Gaia Award for “his career as a whole and his qualities as a visionary businessman and marketing genius”. About 300 people attended the event, including a number of personalities from the Swiss watchmaking industry. Outstanding figures among the attendees included Mr. Jean-Ren¨¦ Bannwart, Chairman of the MIH commission, Mr. G¨¦rard Triponez, Chairman of the Le Locle Watchmaking Museum Committee, Mr. Marc Pfister, Director of the La Chaux-de-Fonds School of Applied Arts, and Mr. Philippe Gnaegi, State Councillor of the Republic and Canton of Neuchatel, Mr. Didier Berberat, Member of the Council of States, Mrs Francine John Calame and Mrs Sylvie Perrinjaquet, National Councillors.Below, Jean-Claude Bi
The Panerai faithful will cringe, but I found something on eBay that made me say "Eh, why not?"It's a Marina Militare; obviously with a strong nod to the Panerai Luminor. Hell, if it said "Panerai" on it, it'd actually be a pretty good knock-off. As it is, though, I suppose it's more of an homage than anything else:I've no illusion as to what it is; a cheap Chinese watch. I love the styling of the Panerai, but the wife foolishly seems to think there are better things to spend money on. It seems to be pretty well made; my jeweler went through the movement and said it looked pretty sturdy, so I should have little concern there. I had to replace the band, as the fake-croc band it came with was just way to short, and it strangled my wrist.Anyway, I took some photos this morning, and thought I'd post 'em.Flame away!
Usually don't post much pics but I promised a group shot of my speedies after the ck2998 to DCheeta so here it is. I think I know what I'll do for the last spot but time will tell:
greetings,I just got a aqua terra chronograph. Mine came with only 2 red cards. I've noticed that many pictures on here have 3 red cards. Looks like I don't have the international one. Any insight on this would be helpful. Thanks.Wil
Two or three years ago, buying a SS watch from an AD at retail was for people not 'in the know'. We could easily get 20% discount buying from a trusted seller. Now I don't even visit their sites anymore. If I do it's only to check out the crazy prices. Do you think those good days are gone?
