Bell and Ross BR0194-BL-CA wrist watches news:
What are the letter designations for all steel Subs w/date for 2008 and 2009 production? Seems they are not consecutive like the alphabet. Also, is there any difference between the current letter model and the previous letter? Also, would both the current and last letter designations both have the rehaut ring? From memory, I thought the AD said 2008 was an "M" series and the 2009 is a "V" series but I want to make sure.Thx in advance for the info.
Greetings everyone...As noted in another post, I recently bought a 1937 Sidney. Love the watch, keeps great time.I wanted to see what kind of reserve time this watch had and was very surprised. It ran a total of 35 hrs. before stopping. I was rather impressed. Can't wait to get another one!BestBob
Hamilton is expanding their aviation line with the introduction of the new X-Mach.Overall, I like the styling of this one. If any of our pilots out there have any cooments on the functionality of the watch, I'd like to hear their comments.
I've been visiting this forum for awhile gathering information & impressions about different quality watches. After a lot of research I decided to get a Damasko DC56 Chronograph & it was delivered yesterday. It seems to be a finely crafted piece of equipment but there's something about it that nags me. The sweep of the chronograph second hand(when turned on)does not move smoothly throughout its full rotation. There are places where it runs at a different beat, almost like a quartz movement, and the it runs smoothly like a mechanical movement. It does this at the same places on the dial consistently. I haven't noticed any inaccuracy in time keeping but it is troublesome for a brand new watch. I have an 8 yr. old Wenger Registered Model GST Air w/ the same Valjoux 7750 movement that runs smoothly throughout it's second hand rotation.Could this be an indication of a serious problem or something that will work itself out w/ use?
I've just picked up an Avenger Seawolf titanium for a song. It needs a full overhaul and I'm wondering if they could do a dial/hand change. It has a dark blue dial but I like the yellow dial. Does anyone know if they will do it and the approximate cost ?
