Breitling Blue Dial wrist watches news:
Since the serial number is engraved on the inner ring, is it also stampedbetween the lugs at 6 or are those cases with on "RRR rehaut" watches universal for a particular model?TIA.
Longines supplied me with the following:"It identifies a Longines mechanical manually wound movement, calibre 10.68Z (same as 12.68Z but slightly smaller) that was sent to Longines-Wittnauer Watch Co., our agent in the USA, on 14.12.1938. The rest of the watch (case, dial, bracelet) has been produced locally in the USA under Longines license."A few new pictures:And the military history of the original owner (the first half of page 1 is in Dutch, the rest is in English):Barry
Yea, I was bored today. Cold, rainy day outside - so decided to brighten up my iPhone & make a few 5135 backgrounds.. Not the best, but better than nothing..WinterSpringAnd summerThere's sized to fir the iPhone display, but can probably be used on many phones. Thanks again to Milos for providing the 5135 picture for me to export..
Would you guys trade an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Silver Dial PLUS a Rolex Daytona 116500LN Ceramic Black Dial for a Patek Philippe 5712 Blue Dial or a Rolex Sky Dweller 326939 White Gold Ivory Dial? Please give me your opinions. Thanks a lot!
Hi folksHope some here with deep experience can help answer a question on whether I can get a replacement bracelet to work with my old Omega Automatic.First, the case number is 166.070, polished stainless, and the lugs are sized for 18mm end links. The original bracelet is no longer made and I've exchanged email with Bob Frei to choose a suitable replacement. I'm looking at the Omega Bead of Rice bracelet model 3010 but there are 3 different end links (511, 512, 514) they offer for that one. Even Bob is stumped on which would work. I have a call into Omega but not holding my breath on a definitive answer there. So the question is, which compatible case number from the list associated with the 3 end link choices makes sense? To see the bracelet/end links, here's the link: .ofrei/page1280.html I know this is a lot of detail but I didn't want to be vague on such a precise question. The watch itself looks like this:
