Breitling H18841 wrist watches news:
Hi there Longines loversI had a quick query regarding Longines straps. A wee while ago I had a Longines Evidenza with a creme face, roman numerals and a quartz movement. It was on a fabulous black calf strap with off- white stitching and deployant. A very nice watch. It's been a while, but the model number was something like L2.655.something. Maybe 654. It is a discontinued model.Fast forward to today- the happy owner of a midsize Omega Railmaster on brown croco. A nice watch that would be completed by that Longines strap. Does anyone know:- does the Evidenza strap come in 19mm width?- does it fit the Omega deployant?- where can I get one? Thanks so much for reading this far. Replies appreciated!Cheersps does anyone know if Longines makes half links for the Hydroconquest bracelet and where they can be sourced?Pps I have spoken to my AD and they don't know.Ppps- thank you again!
I've been looking for some info on quartz chronographs. I have been told that running the chronograph all the time can drain the battery much quicker but I've also been told that the worst thing for a watch is to not run it. Should the chronograph be run on a regular basis and how often would be good for the movement?
Spent the day wearing my new Seiko Velatura SNDA63. I have wanted this watch since it came out and finally pulled the trigger earlier this week. Some don't like the dial because its pretty busy, but I've had no problems telling the time at a glance. It's heavy ( about 135 gr.) but is comfortable to wear. Fit and finish is very good. The new style strap is soft and conforms to the wrist well. Heres the specs:44mm without the crown x 14.5 mm.Sapphire Crystal w/anti-reflective coating.7T92 MovementScrew Locking CrownTiCn Coated Bezel26mm Strap I'm very pleased. It will make a good companion to the Yellow SKA367 and the SKZ327. Only pic I have so far was taken with my girlfriends phone while travelling today. Scott Velatura 121110.jpg
Should be announced in September apparently!Source : patek AD UK staff recently informed by pp But who knows how long til you can get one
Hi all,After I purchased a Rolex from an AD in NYC, I asked to be put on the wait list for a SS Ceramic Daytona. Anyways, I know the wait list isn't a real thing. If you spend $, you will get the watch and the faster you spend, the sooner you get it. Unfortunately, I am not rich enough to employ that strategy. My thought is that if I consistently follow up with the AD, then perhaps I can increase my odds of purchasing the Daytona at retail from an AD. Has anyone had luck using this strategy?
