Bulgari L54847 wrist watches news:
Here is a rare watch from favorite German luxury watch maker A. Lange & Sohne. If you can take yourself back to the bubble building times of the year 2000, you'll recall just how sexy the idea of a tourbillon watch was. This was before a "mere tourbillon" was not enough, and when the complication was gaining steam as the haute mechanical wonder to wear. At this time most consumers still had no idea what the odd, but cool looking complication was. Later most consumers finally learned that the complication was in fact cool to look at, but of questionable value from utilitarian perspective. But who cares really, you don't get a $100,000 watch for utilitarian purposes.2000 to 2003 saw the production of this mini-era defining watch. It took the Lange 1 watch design that really brought A. Lange & Sohne into the modern era and put a tourbillon in it. The area on the dial normally reserved for the subsidiary seconds dial, was now used for a partially open dial showing the tourbillon an
Ah, Valentine’s Day, you either love it or hate it (mostly the latter). Here at HODINKEE we love it – okay not really, but we thought it would be great to bring you a selection of watches (in addition to the HODINKEE Shop picks from yesterday) that we think would be great for your significant other, whoever he or she may be. This Valentine’s day, consider getting a watch you and your partner can enjoy, especially if he or she doesn’t quite get your obsession with timepieces. At 39 mm, the relatively new Oyster Perpetual from Rolex will look great on both your wrist and your partner’s, provided she likes watches made for men – which a growing number of women do. This is a Rolex in its purest form, with universally pleasing aesthetics an
Hello, I have finally decided on the Speedmaster, 38mm. Could someone tell me if the large second hand should always be activated or only running when you are using the chronograph to time something. I have heard that you should only run the large second hand when you are time something but I have also heard it doesn't matter and running the large second hand all the time will not harm the watch. Thank you all for your assistance
i have been thinking of getting the 5980ss for a while now, don't really know how hard it will be to obtain one since it's being discontinued, so i guess my best bet is the second hand market. I 've got my 5712r almost 2 yrs now, don't know if i should trade it for the bigger size nautilus?
Hi Guys,Could use your advice on this, I have a 2017 36mm Black Datejust diamond dial but I feel it looks small on my wrist. I am thinking about paying around $ 8000 and trading for the brand new skydweller white...any suggestions? Thanks!!!
