Cartier 2510 wrist watches news:
When I had originally received the watch it was mounting a very nice rubber/nylon band. The head is exceptional, red/orange. Well I got to reading and found that other persons had replaced bands with Omega SS bracelets. Hunting around I found a small dealer in England, via EBay who was offering, new Omega SS bracelets, in original plastic packaging. This also included separate end links. I ordered, without problems and then spent yesterday installing the bracelet. Only problem I have is a small wrist, even with moving the clasp link pin all the way over. It needs a couple or more links removed. I have had no luck in removing the screws from the bracelet. Can anyone tell me how to remove the screws, since Omega, like Rolex dispensed with push pins? Thanks.
Hey guys, just a quick clearance,my friend shot some pics over about a watch he wanted to buy. am I right that this is a no-no? I'm not much of a Rolex guy, but the price is too good to be true (and you now what they say about that)...any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks for reading!!!EDIT: my friend just called and told me that the seller said that the movement has been changed to an ETA, but other than that the watch is genuine...hmm, I spell scam
I have 3 of the 4 watches back and all in working order. I bought a new strap for one. The Timex is waiting for a part and is "supposed" to be done by the end of this week.I'd like to stick with the original plan of having the interested parties (kids) write a few sentences of why they want a watch, like watches, and if they might like to collect watches someday. Parents: make sure it's in their own words not yours . And please don't write about a specific watch in the contest because you might make me feel guilty if someone else won the one you wanted. My sons will be "judging" the requests. We will use PM for you to provide your answers. I'll let my boys decide 1st through 4the place.I will notify you IF you are selected and what place you earned to pick. Meaning 1st will have first choice, 2nd will have second choice, and so on.I will post on here when the program starts and ends, but I'm going to wait until I have the last watch in my possession and it's working before I start
I love these watches. The fit and finish on them is exceptional and they just feel awesome. I was torn on which to wear first today...I almost wore one on each wrist! Ended up going with the Orange dial. Here are some pics:
I just receive my 5160R from my AD. As I know, most collectors prefer R, but I like both R and J. I think J is very nice too.R1s.jpgR4s.jpgR9s.jpgW6s.jpgW7s.jpgW9s.jpgW11s.jpg
