hi gang,today i hit the fork in the road in my 2.5 years of wisdom. i was wearing my red sub and this was the first time i switched to my modern gmt because i did not want to scratch the sub for fear of devaluing the watch.this was the first time i have ever considered devaluation of one of my vintage pieces has ever been an issue. i don't know if this is a good or bad thing? my gut reaction is that it's a bad thing.my red sub is my favorite vintage piece and it looks amazing in person, in photos and on my wrist but i don't think i will be able to fully enjoy it from this moment on.i'm afraid my vintage pieces have become like t bills or other forms of investment. my plan is to sell off my vintage collection except for one vintage gmt to buy a car once i buy house in the next 12 months.this was bound to happen to me at some point as the valuation of the vintage pieces has morphed my perspective on collecting rolex watches, especially vintage rolex pieces. they will stay in the saf

question about atomic timekeeping
Does Atomic timekeeping keep the date correct, even on the watches that only display the day of month? For example, my current watch (Timex) has the day of month window at the 3-o'clock, but I have to adjust it at the first of most every month.I am looking to upgrade to a better model, but do not want to have to adjust the date at the end of every month like I do my Timex.I would like to get a Luminox Dive watch, but they have the date window without atomic timekeeping and I am afraid that model has to be adjusted every month as well. Thanks in advance for any tips.
