Hello, I'd like to know if the watch case of the Omega SMP(2254.50) and the Speedmaster Moon watch is in fact the same case used in both models, or not? The SMP specification indicates a diameter of 41mm, whereas the Moon watch indicates 42mm. Technically, where does the difference lie? I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

AP straps: standard vs short on long length
Hi, the perfect fit for my is in between two holes. From the watch head end the third hole is just too tight. I can put it on but after an hour it need to be moved to the fourth hole. However, the fourth hole leaves the watch moving too much on my wrist. It won't freely turn all the way around my wrist but close. RDV in Toronto doesn't have watches fitted with short and long straps, so I can't simply try them on, so I'm left begging for answers from other AP watch owners. [Apols if there's a better place I should be asking this?]If I take the back of my 2254.50, or any watch with a claimed high water resistance, should I be greasing (or even replacing) the seal when I refit the case-back?Or would this be done only when changing the seals at a service?thanks much...

Question on submariner ceramic bezel
I know that around 2011, Rolex changed the dial on the 116618 from a powder blue dial (smurf) to the current blue sunburst dial. Does anyone know if the ceramic bezel also slightly changed color on the post 2011 models or is the ceramic bezel color the same as the previous ones from 2011 and before? I am thinking of swapping out the blue sunburst dial for an OEM blue diamond dial on my 2017 116618 and wondered if the blue diamond dial would match the newer ceramic bezel like the older models did. Thanks
