Chopard 4067 wrist watches news:
I JUST received word that at approximately 12:30pm EST, Christiaan got engaged in Red Rock Canyon!CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HAPPY COUPLE!!!!!
Well guys, I may take the plunge. Found a Oyster Perpetual -Date- FS on the web (from a repuable dealer). Looks to be in real nice shape. Has just the date, SS case, with a two tone braclet. I imagine it's an auto. Just under two bills. I really like the markers, and Roman numerals. I know it's difficult without seeing the watch, but assuming it's working properly and as advertised, is the price in the ballpark??? They have a 5 day return policy. Any help would be appreciated!!!
There is a post running at the moment called Restore or NotThis is on the same theme, and I posted it on the Vintage Rolex Forum"My tale starts around the early 1970's when my father bought this watch for a Goodwill type of shop for $7 yes $ 7. The person that sold it had no idea about the locking crown, and said that you cant wind it. The crystal was missing and the dial was bleached white, I never saw this so I cant commit on its condition.A friend of my father, done watch repairs, and he knew somebody who repainted watch dials, so for another $7 the watch was re dialed, serviced and a new crystal fittedNow with hindsight, it would seem that none of these guys knew what the dial should look like, So what I have now have is thisWhat is it, Its a 1928 9kt Rose Gold Rolex Octagonal not seen too oftenThe crown I think is right for the watch , but is in yellow gold OK this is my question to everybody This was my fathers watch, he wore it just as it was, until he passed away, and then
So, today I went to the AP SC to send my AP to have a pressure test to get the 3rd year guarantee sticker. The staff at the SC in Bkk was very nice and was giving me advice like I should bring my AP to service before the 3rdyear guarantee run out so I can save the service cost. However I was quite surprised that the price of the rubber strap is just around 400$ and if I pay by cash I'll get another 10% discount which is much less than I expected. Then I also saw the AP travel case which is all made from leather and cost around 95$ when I've seen offers in the forum or in ebay for around 215$ even ! Does anyone have this particular case did you get it and how does a large Ap fit ? And how does the pressure test take normally? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have an old 60-70s Omega constellation which came with a steel bracelet.I've tried putting a black crocodile but it just doesn't look quite good and it gets 0 wrist time.I was thinking I could revitalize the look with maybe a NATO strap or a bund strap.Any suggestions?Has anyone seen a conny on nato?Another thing is I was wondering what you guys think about polishing the case.
