Chopard 28/8347/8-403 wrist watches news:
This collage is from my Florida trip last week (March 2008). Starting clockwise are the following: * A shot of my 116710 taken on the Space Ride at Epcot Center. This ride gets to 2.5G's on takeoff. * 116710 next to a shuttle model and heat resistant foam taken at the Astronaut Experience at Kennedy Space Flight Center (adjacent to the Astronaut Hall of Fame) * A picture of me on what I call the Hurl-a-Whirl used to simulate a free-spin. * Uh, that me spinning * Alan Shepard's Omega Speedmaster used on Apollo 14. * A shot of my 116710 on a Space Shuttle Model taken at the Astronaut Training Experience Facility (adjacent to the Astronaut Hall of Fame)Had a great time in Florida. It is a nice place to visit, even with the alligators; they are like deer....-Sheldon
I went in a pawn shop that carries mostly coins and jewelry and watches every so often. They have a recased Patek pocket watch in a steling silver jumbo wristwatch case. Has a white tiffany dial, probaby restored. Wanted somewhere around $2k for it. Glass front and back. Not sure if it is even worth going back to look at. If anyone is looking for something like this let me know and I'll go back and get details.
Hey all!Does somebody know where the movement number is now located on the 15202ST?I saw a J series with engraved case number On The bottom and royal oak engraved at the top. Before there was the movement number an no royal oak at all. Maybe somebody could help. I think it's a new detail...Thanks in advance!
Picked up a mint 15300 this afternoon. I've been in the market for past few months for an h serial white dial 15300 or 26300 ROC but have not had any luck. I decided to go for the black dial today.
Just picked up a 372 today. I sold my 111G and went for the 372. I used to own a 422 but sold that to fund the 190. 372 is very nice. Highly recommended.
