Since its launch in 1931, the Reverso has appeared in many forms, from sporting to jewellery to grand complications. Reversos have housed over 50 in-house calibers, and hundreds of dials. During the early days, artists, intellectuals and other renegades often sported red dials to assert their individuality. For 2012, the red dial returns. Hi all this is going to be my first PP, I was torn between this or an AP elephant. I wanted to get some PP EXPERT advice.What is the Pre-Owned price on this piece and I hear PP no longer makes this model. Does that make it more collectible? How much should I expect to pay for this watch? Are they hard to source on the preowned market? Finally any idea of service costs and if I get bored of it can I easily sell on? Nothing like a Panerai
About 15 years ago, I was leafing through a Magazine and saw a model wearing a Panerai Radiomir. I had no idea at the time what it was, but I was absolutely smitten with this watch.Fast forward, I have owned about a half dozen Panerai, and currently own 3.Panerai experienced some wild fanfare several years ago, and much of that has cooled. Many of the older classics are highly sought after, and prices have come back to a more realistic and obtainable level. I tend to not follow the pack, so for me, this recent softening of the market is just fine. I really would like to pick up some classics like a 009, 201A, etc etcAnyways, to this day, as much as I enjoy Rolex and many other brands, nothing gives the feeling of a Panerai.Enjoy your weekend!
