Franck Muller 7851 SC D wrist watches news:
For 2016, Citizen is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Eco-Drive, the brand's pioneering technology of powering watches through light. Citizen's first light-powered analog watch, the Crystron, was released in 1976, and in the four decades since that initial offering Citizen has painstakingly refined the technology, creating watches that are not only more efficient, but also far more refined. The Eco-Drive OneThe culmination of that effort is the Eco-Drive One, Citizen's big reveal for Baselworld 2016. At a thickness just shy of 3mm, The Eco-Drive One is the thinnest solar-powered timepiece ever produced. Driving the watch is Citizen's new caliber 8826¡ªa movement made up of 85 components and just 1mm thick. Despite being so thin, the Eco-Drive One is capable of running a whopping 10 months on a full charge. The Eco-Drive One will be available in three general release models¡ªthe AR5000-50E, AR5000-68A, and AR5004-59H (stainless steel case with cermet bezel)¡ªas well as the limited edition
I think that vintage gold represents amazing value. Recently I was at London airport viewing the most basic solid gold Rolex with gold bracelet. About 14 thousand US. But a 1976 Omega Constellation recently sold on poshtime.co.uk for way less than 4000 dollars. Pictures are still on their site. Well worth a look. OK the styling is old fashioned but the quality is not in doubt.
Starting witch Eco-Drive Diver (as I frequently do from the night). I will switch as the sun comes up. Sent from my iPad using TapatalkThe sun is in the sky!Orient Star GMT
Hi everyoneI'm currently in Turks and Caicos with the family. I've spotted numerous Rollie's, a couple tags and the odd omega. This morning I got very excited because I saw someone wearing an AP, than after getting closer it turned out to be a hublot. Two days here and not one AP other than that on my wrist. Very sad. LOL. :) I actually brought my submariner but I've seen so many I don't want to wear it. Oh well, I still have five more days to try.
So if you it came down and you were a one watch guy ,Would choose the BLNR or Bluesy Sub C as an all Rounder ? Or maybe flip Sub C Bluesy for Sub C date LN?LVC is a non starter... The Bluesy is so much more stunning than the Sub C Date LN imho... though BTW, PM is not an option ... I know it's all a matter of personal preference and both (BLNR & Bluesy) are stunning in their own right ... Just wondering what my fellow TRF'ers would choose and why ?
