Blancier ( a sponsor of WTF )makes handmade watches to order. You go on their virtual workshop flash builder and you select a case, movement, face, and strap. Your piece is then hand-assembled and engraved. Most models in the past were 40mm and under. Well, now they have a pilot¡¯s model with large, luminous numbers and a bright hands. It comes in 42mm or monstrous 55mm models. This model looks great on a leather strap in steel and costs about $1,000, depending on your choice of movement and case. This stuff is truly one-of-a-kind, so it makes that whole ¡° How much for a watch" thing go down a bit easier.

New Liquid Ocean
My first post so hello everyone. Joined this forum as I wanted to buy a Rolex as my first high end watch.But after looking around this Omega thread I was mightily impressed with the new Omegas especially the PO,s. Was on the verge of buying Rolex when I ventured into my local Omega AD and what did I see.. A brand new Liquid Ocean. They had been waiting one year for it and it only recently arrived. Nothing I have seen lately ( and I have seen pretty much everything up to my price point ) comes close to this. I am well happy as I thought they would all be gone..... Would post pics but my blackberry did not do the watch justice I,m afraid. to clarify. Managed to source a brand new PO Liquid Ocean 42mm LE for a great price too...
