In what seems a strange marketing decision, Hublot Watches with its new French captain, has sailed in to the waters of Second Life and purchased a virtual island there. For those of you now keen on all that is virtual, Second Life is a well established virtual world. Millionaires from selling what some people claim is vapor. 1916 Waltham Conversion Wristwatch
I took some time this weekend to put together a case, dial, and parts into a nice little Wathham 3/0 7j pocket watch conversion. The case is a little dinged but all the joints are tight. I like the little bit of engraving on the bezel. The dial is flawless. The band I hacked from another old watch out of the drawer. It needs some additional work to pretty it up. The crystal was very checked and needs replacing especially after I broke it popping it back into the bezel right before taking pictures. ARRG.The grade 310 movement cranked right up after a bath. This style of watch is very different from anything else in my collection. I'm not sure I would persue any more but this one is interesting and sure to start some conversations.Joel

33mm with 18mm band. Yes, that's right, they are supposed to be ladies watches. But I have a very slender wrist! What do ya'll think?

Omega warranty repairs
My Omega watch requires a repair under warranty. I am currently working overseas and my warranty cards are at home. I am trying to get it repaired locally as I won¡¯t be home for months, will an AD accept a copy of my original sales invoice as proof of purchase for repair or do I have to have my warranty card before they will do work. Any ideas?

Finally made the purchase, and love it- PP5164
Hi all, I'm relatively new to the forum. Over the last few months I have purchased a few watches(Rolex's and IWC) from DavidSW. But this time I decided to take it to a new level and join the PP club. I've eyed this watch since it was introduced, and have gone back and forth if I should buy or not. One thing for sure it's not available at the AD's I've called or visited directly. So I had to turn to David and he tracked this one down. It took several weeks, but he found one and delivered.
