Hublot 703.CI.1123.NR.FMO10 wrist watches news:
The Kairos T-band is a clever product that many people have considered but one that hasn't come to production yet (as far as I know). What is it? It is a replacement for your normal watch strap that is actually a "smart band" device. The problem the Kairos T-Band is trying to solve is allowing traditional watch wearers the ability to enjoy the benefits of connected smartwatch technology without having to replace a traditional timepiece that they may love. The Kairos T-Band is essentially a replacement strap for timepiece that includes a touch screen, battery, and hardware to offer the various functions people want from a connected wearable device. You may have heard of Kairos based on our coverage of the brand back in June 2014. The Kairos concept was to produce a "hybrid" smartwatch that also includes a mechanical movement. A transparent touch screen was meant to sit over a traditional watch dial that was powered either by a Swiss Soprod movement or a less expensive Japanese Miyota mov
Hello: Awhile Back I bought at a thrift shop a Women OMEGA Mechanical 2 hand watch. This watch is Gold Plated 20 Microns.Well Today I was able to open it up & using the Omega Vint Web site, I saw that this watch is from 1961, 620 Movt, serial # 18225274 17 jewel watch. I must say the Movt is BEAUTIFUL BABY!!! :)Now the watch runs nicely, its clean (I cleaned it when I got it). I was wondering how to figure out how much the watch is worth IF I wanted to sell it, My wife & my mom do not want it, this watch is sharp? Any input on price would be appreciated.Best Rgds Bill in il (billa1967@sbcglobal)
I would like to share my recent experience with a Sparta 1 I purchased from Orbita.Like most of my friends and peers, I own a couple of automatic watches. Recently, I decided to purchase a couple of watch winders for convenience. After much research, I decided on an Orbita because people in forums have only good things to say about their Orbita.I needed at least 2 winders for the watches I wear most often. So, I decided to buy the relatively cheaper Sparta One for my cheaper watch (Baume & Mercier). I planned to purchase another with TPD programming for my Chopard L.U.C. should the Sparta prove to be a worthy product. However, I was sorely disappointed when I received the winder. Out of the box, the winder did absolutely nothing when turned on. I left it on for a few hours to no avail. So, I decided to open the back to check if the batteries were fitted properly. Whilst doing that, the plastic side panel dislodged from the aluminium part because it was poorly glued on. The epoxy glu
For a vintage watch, my old 1969 Speedy keeps almost perfect (- 5 seconds in 14 hours) time when wound up & then laid face up on a flat surface, but whilst still very accurate given it's age, looses time at slightly over twice rate that when worn.Any thoughts?
