How desperately accurate do you expect your watches to be pals?As you know I've enjoyed phenomenal accuracy with the Co-Axials I've had and indeed the cal 1120 based watches too, especially the venerable 300M GMT. The Speedy Pro is the first non-chronometer Omega I've had and while it usually zeroes out over say the course of a week or so, there can be as you would expect variations at any given time. When I used to take it for a run it would gain 5 seconds which did perturb me initially until I started to think that the c1863 was after all based on an old Lemania movement. Now it's spot on whatever activity I engage in and doesn't waver in the slightest at the end of a run.So guys, make your respective selections and let's engage in the time-honoured practice and talk pals Y'all have a nice day nowZIN

Two new pieces and I blame these two guys...
Few things are more exciting to a watch collector than when a new piece is incoming. Last summer I had one experience that was even more exciting. I was given the opportunity to travel to Geneva and tour Patek Philippe's factories and their magnificent museum, courtesy of Patek Philippe and my Authorized Dealer. If you are ever in Geneva you really must visit their museum it is beyond belief for any watch enthusiast. They have even more vintage pieces than Dennis. While there I was given the chance to meet Mr. Thierry Stern and order something special to remember the experience by. I ordered a couple things special and I picked them up yesterday. So I will blame the first piece on the gentleman on the right and blame the second piece on the gentleman on the left. Need help-Arnex 18k ladies pocket watch
Hi everyone-hope I can find some help here! I've tried everywhere on the internet and just can't find anything out about this watch. It was my grandmother's,its an 18k Arnex-the inside front cover reads-Arnex,Swiss timing,17 jewels,18k and below that is has 0.750. 019.jpg021.jpg017.jpgAny help at all would be greatly appreciated! I've had the jeweler offer a lousy 40 bucks to melt it down,and someone else offered $150-just wanting to know what I have and what i'm dealing with.
