I'm starting my first grown-up woodworking project - a hand-carved watch box with slots for 10 watches. I'm going to make a removable tray to hold the watches, with storage for straps/bracelets/tools below that. The tray is going to be made out of Padauk, I'm debating on either Ancient Kauri wood or pine w/ carbon fiber veneer for the sides and lid. I'm just hoping that someone else here has already carved their own watch box and has pictures to help inspire me along.
Hi theredid some searching here, but with no real success. My wife is about to finish her residency as an ER doc, and I'd like to get her an heirloom-quality watch as a Christmas present. Any suggestions in the sub-$1000 range? Is that possible? Looking for real quality/workmanship. Thanks in advance!
Hey everyone,I was looking into getting a merry christmas open heart present to myself (perfect excuse in December right) but really wasn't sure what my best bet was. What are some of peoples favorites? Pictures seem to always make posts just a little better too
I'm looking to update my 31mm DJ (78243) with a custom meteorite dial. So far all my Rolex have original dials but since my DJ is very simple and I want to add some sparkle in it, I thought I may add a different dial in it but not sure how much will it affect the value or looks. Other than cost and value, is there anything else I need to think before I go ahead and buy the dial.https://.ebay/itm/Rolex-midsi...gAAOSwk5FUtd27
