Running Time: Olympic Hero Usain Bolt Gets His Own Hublot Watch
Jamaican sprinter Usain “Lightning” Bolt became known as the world’s fastest man back in 2008, when he won a gold medal and set new Olympic records at the summer games in Beijing. Now, as Bolt prepares to defend his title this year in London, he will have his own personalized Hublot watch to record his lap times: the King Power Usain Bolt.The new watch, which was designed in collaboration with the Olympic athlete and contains Hublot’s HUB4100 chronograph movement, incorporates several signature elements that are representative of Bolt. On the dial, a silhouette of Bolt in his recognizable sprint pose is applied in anthracite gray transfer atop a black background in the small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock. In the 12-hour chronograph subdial at 6 o’clock, the numbers and indices are in the green color of the Jamaican flag. Had my watch repair man text me saying "two watches are done and ready for pickup." I cannot for the life of me remember which ones he was working on. Dropped off a gorgeous art deco Benrus from the 30's a few months ago. Needed the hands adjusted and a new stem.....Could it be a 50's Hamilton auto that wouldn't wind??? Or maybe aa vintage Longines tank that needed a dial refinish and case repair???? Which reminds me, I need to send him a couple of wristalarms that need a COA. You guys ever forget which watches are in the hospital???

My watch box update
Not a while ago, I posted my watch box asking everyone's opinion for let going few Rolexes to add some more flavor to my watch box. This was my watch box:I was thinking to add a Lange or Patek dress watch in the box, anyway it has to be on the strip. Grand Lange 1, Lange 1 time zone, 5205R and 5130R were on the list. All these choices didn't really ring the bell, I need something casual but not too dressy.Thanks the RTF and everyone, I found a watch meets all the desires, a good condition pre-owned watch to avoid the first high depreciation, white face clean look, casual but not dressy, either to be Lange or Patek. After a smooth transaction with takuya, I got this 2nd generation Lange 1815 Chronograph Flyback.
