Invicta 21832 wrist watches news:
I finally figured out who this watch is good for! The Scarecrow. On good days it can be the Wizard of Oz scarecrow, on bad days, the one from Batman. Why that character? Well the "technofabric" strap of the watch just seems to match the burlap sackmask that the scarecrow wears. Why is this lately iteration of the Concord C1 called the Radar? Your guess it as good as mine, but this is one of Concord's most noble attempts at making the C1 design work.See my full article on the Concord C1 Radar watch here at Haute Living. My wife surprised me this afternoon with the one Oris that has been on my wish list for over a year now.. The Artelier Skeleton! It looks even better in person than I ever would have imagined :) Pics are below. I'll share more info along with a detailed review in the near future.
Hi!Been lurking for a few weeks while my dads old watch went for repair. It's been fixed and cleaned and is running beautifully!Question is, can any of you Longines experts help me identify it?It's from 1948(?) S/N 7535098. 12.68N movement.(17 jewels). 9 carat Gold. Pictures attached should help. Thing is, I have failed to find any other Longines watch with this face and hands. Sure, I've seen the red XII before, but not like this?I will be putting it on the market once I know more about it.Thanks in advance for any advice given!Jimmy Hamilton.
Tom has suggested - and I agree - that we 'stick' the occupations thread. However I think that the stickies are getting out of hand; I live on a 14" laptop and the stickies pretty much consume most of the screen real estate when I open this forum page.So I think it's time to meld a few of the stickies. I've looked at the task several times but haven't figured out which threads to combine. I don't think it will be a simple task. Guessing that the way forward is probably to create a few 'master' stickies and move the existing stickies into them. Create a post with number of links to the old stickies.......The other problem is I don't have the time to do anything other than simple tasks here right now. On the basis that a problem shared is a problem solved, I would appreciate any thoughts anyone may have on this matter!
Hey Gents,Simply put, considering swapping out my 116520 for a Hulk. Should I do it? Which would be better in terms of long term collectibility? What would the valuation be between the two? People who've handled/owned both, what are your impressions?fyi was gonna put in my name for a DaytonaC and bedding down for the long nap if this were to happen. Thanks!
