Invicta 6310 wrist watches news:
Hello hopefully you can help,I am thinking about buying an "Agon Sport" (the face says) wrist watch from a street vendor in south america for a 100 dollars. I know nothing about watches but like the old fashioned/classic look. It needs to be wound for power, The second had ticks maybe 120-180 times per minute, kind of like old rolex's I have seen. Is this a bad purchase? if the thing breaks down or is not accurate over time is it possible to fix? Could you fix it?Thanks so much for your input. Very appreciated.
This watch got passed down to me, and I have been trying to do research to find out what type it is only to find that I cannot find this model ANYWHERE. Could it possibly be a fake? Very rare? PLEASE HELP! I have not taken it apart to find the model number because I would be afraid of damaging it. The back reads 10k gold filled and also use 1260 wrench. If anybody has any information it would be GREATLY appreciated.
First, let me tell you, it has been a great experience reading so many comments on this forum over the last several years. I am a rare currency dealer and have always had a passion for watches. My dad is (still) a watchmaker, and I have grown up watching him work on watches ever since I can remember. Once, I was very young and saw him working on a watch that I already knew was hugely expensive. I asked him how he could do it, and he just told me he treated it like any other watch. If he thought about the value, it may affect his work. Growing up in Springfield, MO I didn't get to see too many high end watches, and there was always the elusive "Patek". I grew up dreaming about them, and was 14 until I even saw one, which was the first year I bought my first 1603 SS/14k Datejust. To make a VERY long story short, I just turned 29 years old and I bought myself my first modern Patek wrist watch to celebrate. After seeing so many Patek pocket watches and vintage (time only) wristwat
As we wait with anticipation for John's review of his new Seiko Premier 6R20 Power Reserve, we will drool over a variation of this watch:
Wears great and still looking at this beauty every day.I like the Tungsten Grey dial.Contacted my AD for an additional rubber strap, and received a mail.I get this strap for free, due the fact that I bought a month ago this Avenger and Rolex for my wife there.Super service and happy that I can change sometimes the strap for variation.
