Jacob & Co. r2Wg wrist watches news:
The moment of truth has come after waiting for over a week the first watch I have bought, my Orient Chief, has arrived. First much thanks to Valtyr and CometHunter for there guidance. Now onto the best part the pictures. The quality isnt on par with some of y'alls my camera is a couple years old but anyway. Picture time. Here is the box.The box opened with the watch.Close Up in box.Laying down shot.Strap shot. It says Orient on the buckle.Wrist shot.Another wrist shot.Close up on wrist. I love the guilloche and full word day.Overall I absolutely love it. The full word date is really cool and one of my favorite things about the watch. The band is a really light brown and when I first opened the box I wasn't sure how I felt about it but it is growing on me and now I feel that it really complements the watch. No pictures of the guts unfortunately I am too afraid to open it up. Thanks for looking.
Just found my Caravelle watch just wondering does any members have any experience with this watch it has the A. Schild 1902 movement 17 jewels. Has any members have any experience with this movment here the pics, any feedback will be appreciated . Ivan1998
I have a couple of watches I need to get work on. One is an Omega that needs a new crystal and to get cleaned. Another watch that just needs to be cleaned and a third that needs a new crystal and possibly some retouching of the luminos parts of the face. I am thinking about two different places and wondered if anyone was from the area and had any dealings with them. I'll also accept any suggestions. I am definitely trying to stay away from any place that needs to "send away" the watch to have it worked on.The two places I am considering is Govberg, apparently they do repairs upstairs from their store (this is just outside Philly), the other is Ed Christine Watchmaker in Allentown. I like Govberg cause it is right next to where I work, but I am leaning toward Ed Christine Watchmaker. Suggestions, opinions?
I have been browsing this forum for a while now, which has underpinned my recent purchase of the beautiful ROO 44 RG. Facing with a new dilemma which I could not decide, I'm turning to seek wisdom from all of you, watch fans.Today, my AD called an offered a chance to by one of my dream watchs, the Rose Gold 15305. But, having bought the 44 RG, I'm thinking about trading my 5980 for it.What do you guys think? Is it worth it? Your thoughts are very much appreciated! Here, I'm leaving you with pics of watches under my collection, perhaps as reference for you kind comments. Thanks again!PP 59805980.jpgAP 1520215202.jpgAP 2640126401.jpg
I came across this on eBay and it caught my eye. I'm still not sure if I like it (it's a bit of a monstrosity), but I haven't seen one like it before, so thought I'd ask you experts for additional info..ebay/itm/Omega-Automa...#ht_476wt_1417
