I've noticed with my own watches and many, many on auction sites that watches often have a period replacement bracelet but it is kind of uncommon to find the original bracelet. Usually, these are estate watches and the bracelet was with the watch for many years.Any speculation on why it would be so common to replace the Hamilton bracelet with a period Speidel, etc. around the time of purchase?
