M¨¹hle Terranaut I Trail Review
M¨¹hle Glash¨¹tte is no stranger to making tough and unique dive watches, as we saw in our review of the S.A.R. Rescue Timer. Their interests, however, go beyond the depths of the sea and into land and air too. While pilot watches are a very common thing (surprisingly common when you think of how many people are actually pilots¡­), watches that are designed for land sports, by which I mean biking, hiking, etc¡­ are oddly less common. With their Terranaut Trail line, M¨¹hle has set out to make watches for this very purpose.With designs inspired by pilot's watches, the Terranaut's have a restrained and attractive look with an emphasis on legibility. Big hands and markers, all in khaki, are the signature of the line adding an earthiness to the palette that speaks to their purpose. A few random photos from the road...
I drove down to the Miura Peninsula south of Tokyo yesterday to pick something up at a store. I was alone, so I took a few photos through my clearly dirty windshield; definitely not the typical tourist photos; and not necessarily set out in the order taken; but in case you might wonder what it's like to put on your Rolex watch and go for a drive on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Japan in a car worth less than your watch, here are a few random shots I took of what I saw (including my watch) while driving. I took the camera in order to make watch photos, but that's not so easy or safe to do when driving, as I was reminded as I settled into expressway traffic in my Honda Comfortable Runabout Vehicle (CRV); so I just pointed and shot whenever the opportunity presented itself. Most of the photos were out of focus or of things such as the door handle. DIVER or EXTRA THIN?
Which would you prefer?Am I mistaken when I say the diver retails for 19k and the stainless steel extra thin (JUMBO) retails for about 22k? Or is there a larger price difference?

Watch storage temperature
Good afternoon all, apologies if this sounds stupid!I returned home from holiday last night. This morning I went to take my watches out of the safe to give them a good wind and introduce them to my new BLNR. Lol. I noticed the safe was pretty cold to the touch (as it¡¯s been very cold in the U.K. this week) and also the contents too. Including the watches regardless of being in their travel pouches. Would being stored in a cold environment cause some internal damage over time perhaps to the oils and lubricants? Or if I¡¯m winding them once a week should this prevent any problem? I¡¯m sure there¡¯s nothing to worry about but just wanted your opinions. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
