Longines L2.741.4.73.2 wrist watches news:
This branding of the Cornavin's Dolphin watches were manufactured during the late 1960’s to early 1970’s.At this time many watch manufactures were designing watches that looked more futuristic. This was done due to the space race and man landing on the moon. One company that went futuristic crazy was Rado. Rado also had a branding logo a horse. Many companies like Cornavin followed their example and stated making some innovated designs and they used the Dolphin as their branding logo. However I think their logo looks more like a Marlin or a Swordfish. This watch needed some care. It was running fast and I corrected that “used iPhone Kello app. it worked ok”. The case and the crystal were also scratched up. I’m going to use this watch as an example of a post on How to polish Stainless Steel and another post on polishing plastic watch crystals. These posts will be coming at a later time. The before images were taken off of the original eBay listing.

Just got my new green crocodile strap for my SOH 42 as a change up for the Ocean Classic it came with. Breitling doesn't offer the SOH with croc but I like the look.
Hello. I sent my 328 in for repair, the minute and hour hands were not lining up correctly. I thought the hour hand jumped a tooth in the running train, but I am not certain. I just got info today that the watch had been sent to Panerai for a partial service and would take 4-6 weeks. I wanted to ask those of you that had dealt with servicing your Pams is the turn-around time fairly quick? Thanks in advance!
This is my first post. Thank you to all of you here for the great wealth of information over the last two months or so! After lurking/researching/learning, I headed to my local AD on Friday to see models in person, though I was pretty set on a Sub no date. When I arrived, and before I could even fully ascertain whether they had a Sub not date or not, I noticed a GMT Master II BLNR in the case and was immediately drawn to it. I liked it so much more in person than I realized I would.Just like that, I own my first Rolex. Great AD, MSRP price (I got a Rolex Titleist Pro V1 Golf Ball), and a beautiful watch. Thanks again to all of you here for making me a smarter/more informed shopper! Pictures attached.
