Alpina Goes Vintage with the Seastrong Diver Heritage
The popularity of ‘heritage’ models from established watch manufactures is still going strong this year at Baselworld 2016, and Alpina has joined the fray with a strong entry. In 1967 Alpina produced an EPSA Super Compressor cased diver called the Alpina 10. This was one of many Super Compressor divers made during that era, and the Alpina 10 is a rare and desirable model for collectors these days. Now nearly 50 years later, Alpina has launched the Seastrong Diver Heritage, and modern interpretation of that classic Alpina 10. Much like Longines did with the Legend Diver, Alpina has taken their vintage classic and given it a modern update.The Seastrong Diver Heritage is a sleek and understated diver. The stainless steel case is 42mm wide and 12.3mm thick and will have a sapphire BOX crystal, with a water resistance of 30 bar or 1000ft. SD tool kits and charts??????
whats up guys!!! Did anyone purchase an SD M serial or V serial that came with the divers extra link, tool kit, and chart????I purchased a tail end M serial and I never got the tool kit set???? I was told by my AD and BH RSC that they no longer came with the SD, but I keep seeing people post New M's and V's with tool kits???Can anyone tell me if they got M's and V's that came with kits???Thanks!!

Are Hamilton boxes worth anything? No, not the fancy presentation box, the cardboard?
I got to snooping around in some old boxes mainly from Grandpa and Grandma, and lookie what I found! A Hamilton watch box! Felt something inside it, sorta heavy...like a watch! so I opened it up and....!****, just a bunch of cheap costume jewelry, a Seiko and a Timex. Ah well, can't win 'em all. So anyway, am I just keeping some scrap cardboard around, or does a cardboard box with 'Hamilton' on it have any worth? I mean, I don't expect it to be a 100$ box, but I'd like to know if it's worth it to not pitch it into the fire pit.

Which Chronograph would you choose?
I'm not sure if this has been discussed previously but just for fun....I would like to ask the nice members of this Patek forum a simple question. (if there is such a thing when it involves buying a Patek)Assume for a moment that what you have in your collection is irrelevant to the question and that both are priced about the same. What would you pick if given a choice of either a Patek 5070G or the new 5170G Black dial? Why?I have been beating my brains up for a while and still cannot pick a clear choice.
