Recently, I purchased a Longines Flagship Automatic dial, it's a solid 18 Kt gold (I'm not favor in gold!!), I attach with this message two pictures shown front and back and hopefully someone will tell me the history of it as well as which movement was originally made for it, I believe it is dated back before 1970 and I'm not sure. Do you worry about getting mugged for your watch?
I read this article on another thread. I bring it up here because I want to discuss it further, and don't want to do any thread hijacking.
