This looks cool if you have a arm and wrist. As noted by others the display is dim. Also, I dont recommend using it for water sports even though it says water resistant to 100m. Mine got fogged up in the pool.

Well....my fiance' who was NOT at all into watches has come around. After getting my first Patek a year ago (and now in the process of acquiring my 3rd), my fiance' now knows most brands of watches and picks them out on tv shows, planes, etc. She's got the bug :)So, when we were in Aruba last week, she and I both saw this one at the AD and she tried it on --- she loved it as did I.I've never seen a post on this, so was wondering what everyone thought? New watch as gift - warranty card not in your name = issue?
Short version. I have the opportunity to buy a new SD43 from an AD. They are saving it for VIPs only. One of my friends is a VIP at that AD. The AD is insisting that he purchase the watch with his credit card and gift it to me. In turn, they are also insisting that the warranty card be written up in his name.Something about having a new high end watch with papers in someone else's name is grating on my nerves. Am I being too picky here?
