Omega 4375.71.00 wrist watches news:
In 1986 a man had a genius idea to wear a clock around his neck. That man was Mr. William Jonathan Drayton Jr. otherwise known as the musician Flavor Flav. This remarkable idea became a signature look of his on and off-stage persona. So much so that one today cannot separate the man from the clock. In 1984 Flavor Flav was part of the new musical group Public Enemy. Who, in the latter part of the 1980s helped usher in the era of hip hop and rap into the mainstream through socially aware songs and a energetic sound which offered a suitably fascinating contrasting sound which complimented rock and roll as the music of choice for an entire generation.Unbeknownst to himself, Flavor Flav is a frequent topic of discussion and reference point in the watch lover community. His large, neck-worn timepieces offer a fantastic comparison point when attempting to phrase, in real-world terms, the hyperbolistic size of a large wrist watch.? I've a so called original rubber strap for the Seamaster (SMP) watch but when fitted it is loose against the watch case. They are fitting with straight spring bars, as I hear some people use curved (I think for the PO rubber strap though). The rubber strap I've is Omega's serial 98000085. Can anyone shed any light why these don't sit snug against the case please?IMG_1071.jpgIMG_1072.jpgIMG_1073.jpgIMG_1074.jpg
PO newbie here and could use the omega forum's collective wisdom.1. I've noticed that the caseback some of the PO 45's (orange bezel) has this circle-ish spot, to the right of the word "Ocean" - what is that? See picture for more clarification. 2. What does the red dot on the caseback signify?3. Should the standard steel bracelet that comes with the PO 45 (orange bezel) be marked as "951" or "952"?Thank you!
IĄŻve seen some incredible pictures of the SD43 or the 50th Anniversary Sea Dweller. LetĄŻs use this thread to show off the photogenic skills of this special watch. IĄŻll start it off,
I'm currently considering either a Oyster Perpetual 116000 (No Date) or a Explorer 114270 both would be in stainless steel with black dial... they look fairly similar however I am I right in thinking they both use a 3130 calibre movement ? the internet is a bit of a minefield when it come to researching these things,Also is either better than the other.... many thanks H
